What is hayfever?

Hayfever is caused by your immune system reacting unnecessarily to pollens. Trees can begin to produce pollen in late January and some grasses continue producing pollen until September so depending on what you’re allergic to, the season can be many months.

Between 10-15% of us suffer from hayfever symptoms. Of those 10-15% of people about 10% do not respond to conventional, easily available treatments like anti-histamine tablets, nasal sprays and eye drops.

Symptoms from severe hayfever can significantly reduce the quality of life, ruining our ability to enjoy summer as well impacting our work. Unfortunately there is no cure to hayfever and severe symptoms require daily treatments. However, we offer a selected treatments as well as a ONE OFF solution which helps to decrease symptoms for at least 3 weeks and sometimes for the entire season! Occasionally a second dose may be needed.

Please note: this is not suitable for all and may not work for all.

Please be assured our team of expert Health Care Professionals will ensure the treatment is suitable for you and they will discuss the side effects with you prior to administering treatment.

Other treatment options include:

Tablets - Fexofenadine

Nasal Sprays - Beclometaone, Mometasone.
